On the eastern slope of the Haouz mountains of Tetouan lies the village of El Kouf, in Allyine commune, about 10 kilometres west of M'diq and 20 kilometres north of Tetouan.
It is split into two parts, Lower and Upper El Kouf, and is known for a calm landscape of valleys, waterfalls and forest.
