Talousis is a shared peak: its crest is a natural boundary between two tribal territories. It is attributed to the Beni Selmane without losing its link to the neighbouring tribe.
In the same Beni Selmane lands, at the eastern entrance of Talassemtane park, stands Jbel Kharbouch, a limestone massif.
