Jbel Lakraa rises to about 2159 metres. It is also known as Jbel El Aqraa or Jbel Echhab. It stands in Talassemtane National Park, in Chefchaouen province, and is one of the highest peaks of the Rif range.

In the ranking of the highest peak of each Chefchaouen tribe, Lakraa comes first, with a special twist: its summit is a natural boundary between two tribes. One side belongs to the Beni Zejel and the other to the Akhmas, so it is the highest peak of both tribes at once.

On its slope, in Bab Taza commune, lies the village of Makou. Next in the ranking comes Jbel Tissouka, the second-highest peak of the western Rif.
