Jbel Zemzem
The geological exception of the Haouz mountains of Tetouan.
- Type
- Mountain
- Location
- Tetouan province
Jbel Zemzem is one of the most unusual mountains of the Rif range geologically, because it is a clear exception in its surroundings: while limestone dominates the Haouz mountains in several places, Zemzem is made of a different structure, Numidian flysch.
Between the limestone massif of the Haouz and Jbel Zemzem lies the village of Oued Zerjoun.
